Bedroom Fragments
An online exhibition by House of Nocturne
Bedroom Fragments invites artists to explore the bedroom through fragments of everyday life, fleeting moments and glimpses of intimacy. From blurred movements and half-caught moments to sensual details, unmade beds, discarded clothing, quiet mornings and the traces we leave behind.
We are interested in imagery that captures a feeling rather than a perfect frame; a moment that might otherwise go unnoticed; an atmosphere that lingers long after the image has been seen.
This could be a self-portrait, a fleeting glimpse of the human form, the softness of morning light across bedsheets, a blurred figure moving through a room, or the quiet intimacy of an everyday scene.
We want to see the fragments: the fleeting, the intimate, the imperfect and the beautifully human.
Deadline 30th December 2026
Submit Your Work for Consideration
House of Nocturne is an independent creative space exploring contemporary, alternative and thought-provoking art. We’re interested in work that challenges convention, explores identity, plays with the human form or finds beauty in the unusual.
We welcome submissions from artists working across photography, painting, drawing, illustration, digital art, mixed media or sculpture. Whether your work is sensual, surreal, intimate, unconventional or difficult to categorise, we want to discover it.
What We’re Looking For
We’re drawn to work with a strong visual identity, a clear point of view and a sense of individuality. We value originality over trends and artistic expression over fitting a particular mould.
We’re particularly interested in work exploring the body, identity, emotion, texture, light, shadow and the beautifully unexpected. However, we don’t want to limit what art can be. If your work feels right for House of Nocturne, we encourage you to submit.
We welcome emerging and established artists alike.
